VL53L4CD High-Precision Proximity and Distance Sensor

Designed specifically for close and short-distance measurements, the VL53L4CD delivers highly accurate distance measurements with a range from 1 mm to 1300 mm. The sensor features an 18° field of view, improved performance in ambient light, and a maximum ranging frequency of 100 Hz. Its autonomous mode and programmable ranging settings enable ultra-low power consumption, making it ideal for battery-powered applications. On-chip embedded processing reduces system design complexity and lowers bill-of-materials costs, allowing use of lower-power, cost-effective microcontrollers. Like all STMicroelectronics FlightSense time-of-flight (ToF) sensors, the VL53L4CD provides absolute distance measurements independent of target color or reflectivity.
