UV-Resistant Marine Scupper Flap

This marine scupper flap is manufactured from high-integrity plastic formulated for resilience in demanding maritime settings. It offers proven resistance to ultraviolet degradation, saltwater corrosion, and thermal extremes — all critical for longevity aboard vessels operating in northern European climates. The component functions as a one-way gravity-operated valve: water accumulation inside the hull or cockpit generates upward pressure that lifts the flap open, enabling fast drainage; once internal water levels fall, the flap settles closed to block external water entry. Installation requires removal of old baffle and fasteners, cleaning of the drain board surface, and re-mounting into the vessel’s existing screw-hole pattern — no drilling or permanent alteration needed. Suitable for retrofitting on recreational craft, workboats, and tender vessels where dependable, low-profile drainage is essential.
