It has a tannin-rich extract derived from the edible fruit of the Terminalia bellerica tree that helps maintain uric acid levels within a healthy range. It has been shown to support healthy concentrations of two critical enzymes involved in uric acid metabolism: xanthine oxidase and inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS). Uric acid is formed when the body breaks down purines, which are organic compounds that serve functions in our genetic material and other activities such as neurotransmission. It is recommended to take 1 capsule twice a day after breakfast and dinner, or as recommended by a healthcare professional.
