Then adjust the depth and range for searching. When held steadily without interference, the detector will sway left and right when detecting the specified item. The swaying motion will increase if the detected item is larger. Startup Test: Turn on the main unit and search instrument; the working indicator light on the search instrument will flash. When the main unit is set to the gold mode, the corresponding gold indicator light on the search instrument will illuminate. Similarly, selecting other modes (silver, diamonds, gemstones) will light up their respective indicator lights. If the selected mode on the main unit does not illuminate the corresponding indicator light on the search instrument, the battery may be low and needs charging.
