UK Brass Tap Stem Replacement Kit

Dedicated replacement kit for servicing legacy and contemporary brass taps across the UK. Contains two solid brass stem assemblies: cold side (replaces 002713-40) and hot side (replaces 002714-40), both finished with durable multi-layer electroplated silver. Each stem uses a quarter-turn valve core with integrated spring check and lever-handle engagement. Dimensions conform to standard UK tap spindle profiles (approx. 65 mm length, 12 mm hex base, M22 × 1 mm thread). Weight per unit ~85 g. Purpose-built to resolve operational faults such as dripping at tap base, inconsistent temperature delivery, stiff or jerky handle motion, and gradually decreasing water volume — all commonly linked to degraded valve cores or mineral deposits obstructing flow channels. Compatible with compression-type brass taps found in period properties and modern reproductions alike.
