TTL-RS485 USB-C 3-Function Adapter

Lightweight serial adapter (approx. 15 g) with dimensions of 5.2 × 2.2 × 1.2 cm, constructed on a black PCB substrate. Equipped with USB Type-C interface for host-side connection and supports three distinct operational roles: USB-TTL, USB-RS485 and TTL-RS485. Powered via USB-C and supplies up to 300mA at selectable 1.8V/3.3V/5V logic levels. Core ICs are CH343P (USB bridge) and SP3485EN-MS (RS485 transceiver). Baud rates extend from 50bps to 6Mbps in USB-dependent modes, and up to 12Mbps when used as a direct TTL-to-RS485 level shifter. RS485 range is influenced by cable type, environmental noise and configured baud rate — conservative deployments achieve >1 km at 9.6kbps. RTS and CTS lines facilitate hardware flow control. Built-in protections include input polarity reversal immunity and ESD hardening on RS485 differential outputs.
