Thermal Fusion Water Stop Kit

A purpose-built kit for UK plumbers performing hot-melt pipe repairs without system isolation. Contains three stainless steel water stoppers (1/2 inch, 3/4 inch and 1 inch), a release pin, T-wrench and one spare rubber boot. Each stopper uses precision-machined threads and a tapered stainless nose to guide smooth insertion, followed by controlled expansion of the rubber boot upon tightening. This creates a dynamic, pressure-activated seal capable of holding back flowing water during full-cycle fusion welding. Removal is achieved cleanly using the release pin, which disengages the internal lock without requiring hammering or prying. The kit’s compact form factor and low weight support daily carry in tool belts or van kits. Designed for compatibility with standard UK-specification fusion machines and PE100 pipe grades. Effective in both new installations and aged infrastructure — from basement flats to highway utility corridors.
