Sturdy Aluminum Tile Hole Positioning Tool

A purpose-engineered hole positioning aid made from aerospace-grade aluminum alloy, weighing 280 g and folding to 5 cm × 5 cm for effortless transport. Its six-segment linkage system permits infinite angular adjustment between 0° and 180°, with each joint secured via knurled thumb screws for vibration-resistant locking. Total extended length is 30 cm, calibrated with fine-etched reference marks along outer edges for quick dimension checks. Primarily used to locate and outline holes in wall and floor tiles prior to wet-cutting or drilling, it ensures symmetry and spacing compliance with UK building standards for sanitary ware and heating installations. Also validated for use on exterior brickwork, decking substructures, and floating floor transitions where mechanical repeatability outweighs electronic alternatives.
