Stainless Downpipe Leaf Strainer

Compact gutter protection unit measuring 17 cm tall × 8 cm wide, with flexible diameter adjustment from 45 mm to 85 mm — ideal for retrofitting into existing UK downpipe systems. Crafted entirely from non-magnetic stainless steel (AISI 304 grade), ensuring resilience against chloride-induced corrosion common near coastal areas or roads treated with de-icing salts. Each set includes four identical strainers, ready for immediate deployment. No drilling, glueing or permanent alteration is required: simply compress and insert — friction-fit retention prevents displacement during heavy flow. Captures organic matter (leaves, moss, seed pods) and particulate (dust, granules, mortar residue) before ingress into the drainage column — sustaining consistent siphon action and minimising overflow risk during prolonged UK drizzle or summer thunderstorms.
