Soft Thick Sponge Mic Cover for RODE M5

A soft, thick and highly conformable sponge microphone cover built for RODE M5, NT5, NT6 and NT55 microphones. Made from homogenous open-cell foam with balanced elasticity—ensuring tight yet gentle contact with the mic body and grille. Fits standard capsule diameters (manual measurement variance up to 3 cm accepted). Offers simultaneous benefits: mechanical shielding against environmental contaminants and passive acoustic filtering for wind, drafts and breath noise. Acoustically neutral design preserves original tonal signature and sensitivity, making it ideal for capturing nuanced vocal performances, acoustic string textures and spoken-word clarity. Used widely by UK-based content creators who require dependable, silent, low-profile audio enhancement in everyday recording environments.
