Slim Acrylic Overflow Guard Comb

Measures 22.5 cm long, 5 cm tall and just 0.4 cm thick — engineered for tight-fit compatibility in narrow overflow slots without obstructing flow volume. Constructed from solid cast acrylic, not brittle extruded plastic, ensuring resistance to cracking during handling or thermal fluctuation in heated aquarium environments. Functions as both a mechanical filter and flow diffuser: the precisely spaced teeth block solids while maintaining open area for unrestricted water passage. Reduces turbulence at the overflow entry point, contributing to quieter sump operation and more stable water levels in the display tank. Suitable for nano tanks up to 300 L; commonly deployed in UK-based reef builds using Herbie or Bean Animal-style overflow configurations. No assembly required — ready to use straight from packaging.
