Silicone Loose Leaf Tea Filter Set

Each unit is 10 cm long with a 5 cm square base and 5 cm depth, crafted from homogenous food-grade silicone — no seams, welds or inserts. Total weight approx. 35 g per piece. Designed for direct immersion in hot or chilled liquids without leaching, warping or odour retention. Operational range confirmed from -40°C (freezer-safe for pre-chilled herbal infusions) up to +250°C (safe inside oven for sterilisation or drying). Naturally hydrophobic surface repels water-based residues and accelerates drying time. Compatible with all common UK kettle types, including rapid-boil and variable-temperature models. Allows full control over extraction: insert, steep, lift and discard leaves cleanly — no dripping, no spillage, no trapped sediment. Ideal for experimenting with premium loose-leaf grades where particle size varies significantly (e.g., broken orange pekoe vs. whole-leaf silver needle), as flexibility accommodates uneven expansion better than rigid cages.
