Rust Resistant Cast Iron Wok Ring

This wok ring is forged from thick-gauge cast iron, measuring 18 cm outer diameter and standing 3.5 cm tall, with a total weight of 1.2 kg. Its matte black, uncoated surface is naturally corrosion-resistant when maintained with light oiling and regular use—no paint, enamel or plating to chip or degrade. The three-leg base distributes weight evenly across gas hob surfaces. It stabilises cookware by creating a secure, level platform that centres vessels over the flame—reducing lateral movement and minimising heat loss from misalignment. The elevated position improves responsiveness to flame adjustments, supporting precise temperature management during fast-cook techniques. Tested across UK domestic gas hobs (including Belling, Rangemaster and Smeg models), it also performs consistently on camping stoves (e.g., Campingaz CP100), tabletop grills and wood-fired setups—making it suitable for year-round kitchen and outdoor use.
