This training wheel set supports 12, 14, 16, 18, and 20 inch children’s bicycles — compatible with both fixed-gear and derailleur-equipped models. Each unit comprises a heavy-duty iron frame with a 12 cm diameter rubber tyre. Total package weight: approx. 1.2 kg. Includes two M8 extension bolts to resolve insufficient axle protrusion — a known limitation on many modern lightweight kids’ bikes sold in the UK market. Mounting uses existing rear dropout threads; no drilling or permanent modification required. Adjustability is built into the bracket design: simply loosen the nut, slide to desired height, and retighten. The rubber tyres are moulded for consistent tread depth and sidewall resilience, resisting chunking or flat-spotting after repeated loading. Used extensively in supervised home practice and school cycle-training programmes, the combination of controlled lean response and predictable roll-out supports muscle memory development — especially during early steering and braking coordination.
