Rotating Breakaway Swivel Set 5T 1T

Size breakdown: 5T swivel — approx. 12 cm long × 6 cm wide × 4 cm thick; 1T swivel — approx. 9 cm × 4.5 cm × 3 cm. Total net weight ~0.8 kg. Max working loads: 5 Ton (11,023 lbs) and 1 Ton (2,204 lbs). Made entirely from high-strength steel; silver appearance results from raw metal finish, not paint or plating. The core function is continuous rotational freedom during active pulling — achieved via internal wire-bearing design that minimises drag and maintains alignment under tension. Breakaway functionality is built-in and non-resettable per activation; however, the pin is fully replaceable using standard M8 hardware (pin type not specified but compatible with common replacements). Mounts directly between grip and rope or between rope and tension machine anchor point. Commonly deployed by UK contractors on Openreach G.652.D fibre installations, LV street lighting upgrades, and railway trackside telecom cabling — where Health & Safety Executive (HSE) guidance recommends mechanical overload protection on all powered pulls exceeding 500 kg.
