Robust Dovetail Finder Mount Metal Base

This metal dovetail base offers dependable mechanical coupling between your telescope and aiming devices. Measuring 4.2 cm × 3.9 cm × 2.0 cm (1.65 × 1.54 × 0.79 inches), it is formed from dense diecast metal for long-term dimensional stability. The design centres around two large-diameter thumbscrews that engage directly with the optical tube wall — delivering high clamping torque without tools. Suited for finder scopes, red dot pointers and collimation lasers, it supports flexible configuration on both beginner and intermediate-level instruments commonly found in UK astronomy clubs and schools.
