Reusable Ocean Creature Concrete Mould

Measuring 30 cm square with a 5 cm depth, this stepping stone mould is constructed from resilient, food-grade polypropylene — flexible enough to release set concrete cleanly, yet rigid enough to hold shape during pour. Finished stones average 4.5 cm thick and demonstrate proven resistance to cracking under pedestrian load, making them suitable for permanent placement in driveways, garden paths, flower borders and courtyard entrances. The integrated seamless cavity eliminates concrete seepage at corners or bases, resulting in uniform thickness and crisp pattern definition. Its low mass enables one-handed handling on grass, gravel or soil; stacking lugs allow up to six units to be stored vertically in under 0.1 m² of floor space. While ideal for 30 cm stepping stones, the same mould produces scaled-down versions for edging, plant markers or coastal-style tabletop pieces. Carved motifs include biologically informed seahorse profiles, undulating jellyfish bells, textured whale flukes and multi-armed octopuses — all rendered with visible surface grain and contour variation. Cleaning involves only a hose rinse and flat air-drying; no oiling or UV protection is needed, and performance shows no degradation after repeated seasonal use in UK outdoor conditions.
