Reusable Beeswax Sourdough Storage

A pair of large-format, food-grade reusable bags designed specifically for sourdough and other artisanal breads. Dimensions: 17 inches × 12 inches per bag. Constructed from tightly woven organic cotton impregnated with a uniform layer of natural beeswax, cold-pressed jojoba oil, and sustainably harvested tree resin. The result is a tactile, slightly tacky surface that conforms gently to loaf shape while forming an effective moisture-regulating seal. This natural composite lining prevents rapid dehydration without suffocating the bread — enabling slow, even staling rather than abrupt texture collapse. Tested across multiple bread types, it consistently outperforms uncoated cloth, parchment, and standard plastic bags in maintaining crumb spring and crust integrity over 72+ hours. Use cases include storing freshly baked loaves at room temperature, carrying sourdough from local bakeries, packing breakfast pastries for work or school, or freezing extra batches. Cleaning requires only cold water, mild soap, and air drying — no heat exposure, no abrasives, no machine cycles.
