The large surface area ensures full coverage of oversized loaves without gaps or exposed edges where drying begins. Suitable for ambient storage only. Store in cool, shaded cupboards or on countertops away from radiators or oven heat. Avoid prolonged sun exposure to prevent wax softening. Compostable at end-of-life when wax content has fully degraded — typically after 12–18 months of outdoor composting under active conditions.
