PT1000 Silicone-Coated Temp Probe

A robust 2-wire temperature probe built around a PT1000 platinum resistance element, fully encapsulated in thermally conductive silicone gel. The probe body measures 45 mm in length and 5 mm in diameter, with a 1.5 m flexible cable terminating in standard insulated leads. Housing materials combine metal (for thermal conduction and durability) and plastic (for strain relief and connector protection). Rated for continuous use from -50°C to +180°C, this probe meets general-purpose industrial requirements for accuracy, repeatability and environmental resilience. It integrates directly into UK-market devices including flow meters, pressure sensors, solar charge controllers and water leak alarm systems requiring RTD-class input signals. Ideal for retrofitting into legacy infrastructure or upgrading from less stable NTC-based monitoring — especially where ambient humidity, thermal shock or vibration may affect sensor longevity and reading consistency.
