Professional Violin Back Plate Clamp

A purpose-built set of five aluminium beam clamps engineered exclusively for string instrument bracing applications. Dimensions span 80 mm to 240 mm to accommodate full-size violins through smaller cellos. Constructed from a single piece of aircraft-grade aluminium per clamp, they deliver zero tolerance deviation in parallelism and jaw flatness. Used primarily for securing back plates during edge gluing, reinforcing bass bars, aligning linings, and supporting scroll blocks during neck resets. Their slim cross-section enables placement inside f-holes or between ribs without obstructing internal tool access, making them indispensable for internal structural work where space is severely constrained.
