A dedicated mechanical filtration solution for pressure-fed pond systems, containing two yellow fine-density and two blue coarse-density sponge pads, all sized 20 x 15 x 5 cm. Constructed from resilient, non-toxic sponge material with consistent cell structure. Net weight approx. 380 g. The coarse blue pads serve as primary sediment traps, handling large particulate loads before water reaches the fine yellow pads — which refine clarity by capturing suspended fines that cause green water or milky haze. Ideal for koi ponds, wildlife ponds and large aquaria where mechanical pre-filtration is critical to protect biological media and UV sterilisers. Designed for push-fit installation into standard UK-filter baskets; no glue, tape or cutting needed. Rinsing restores full performance — pads retain structural integrity after 50+ cleaning cycles. Vacuum-packed for efficient delivery; full expansion to nominal thickness occurs reliably within 5–10 minutes in ambient pond water.
