Premium Pond Foam Filter Replacement

Replacement coarse and fine sponge media set for Oase BioPress 4000 and PondoPress 5000 pressure filters. Each kit contains two separate foam blocks: coarse (black) and fine (blue), cut to factory-spec dimensions and density. Material: high-grade, open-cell polyether sponge — non-shedding, non-degrading, and fully submersible in freshwater for indefinite service life when maintained properly. Mechanical filtration is achieved via physical straining: coarse foam traps visible solids (e.g., faecal matter, shredded leaves); fine foam filters colloidal particles responsible for green water haze and milky turbidity. Together they form a scalable, reusable barrier that integrates seamlessly into existing Oase media-based filtration workflows. Recommended for ponds subject to moderate organic loading — including those with waterfalls, UV clarifiers or planted zones. Not intended for use with pressurised sand or diatomaceous earth filters. Rinse with pond water or dechlorinated tap water only — avoid detergents or high-pressure jets that compress pores and reduce effectiveness.
