Precision ±0.02° Magnetic Encoder Module

This MT6835-based magnetic encoder achieves ±0.02° typical linearity deviation after on-board self-calibration — among the highest accuracy levels available in single-chip magnetic angle sensors. Housed on a 22.5 mm × 22.5 mm × 8.5 mm PCB and weighing just 5 g, it runs from 3.3 V to 5.0 V and operates continuously from −40 °C to +125 °C. Communication includes 4-wire SPI (21-bit angle, up to 16 MHz), ABZ quadrature (1–16384 lines), and UVW outputs (1–16 pole pairs). Supports up to five independent zero-point programming events in the field. Includes one encoder unit and one matched magnet for immediate installation. Its combination of sub-10 µs latency, 120,000 RPM capability, and thermal stability makes it ideal for applications demanding repeatable micro-radian positioning — such as semiconductor wafer handlers, surgical robot joints, or high-end audio turntable speed control. The all-solid-state design withstands shock, vibration, and contamination far better than optical or capacitive alternatives. Unlike generic ‘high-precision’ claims, this accuracy is measured and validated across the full temperature range and supply voltage window — not just at room temperature and nominal voltage — giving designers confidence in real-world performance.
