PK Mount Lens Rear Cap

A new, unused black plastic rear lens cap designed exclusively for Pentax PK-mount lenses. With an outer diameter of 48mm and weighing only 8g, it delivers OEM-level dimensional accuracy and functional reliability. The cap uses a single-piece injection-moulded construction with a slightly bevelled inner edge for effortless alignment and secure retention. Its primary role is safeguarding the vulnerable rear assembly of detached lenses: protecting electrical contacts from oxidation and debris, shielding the rear optical element from fingerprints and abrasion, and preventing mechanical stress on the aperture linkage or focus helicoid during storage. Tested and confirmed compatible with Pentax 18–55mm f/3.5–5.6 AL, 55–300mm f/4–5.8 ED, and 40mm f/2.8 Limited lenses — as well as legacy K, M, and A-series optics — this cap supports long-term lens care across generations of PK glass.
