Roll format: 1 m width × selectable length (1 / 2 / 3 / 4 m). Composed of metallised aluminium film bonded to double-bubble polyethylene, reinforced with PET carrier layer for dimensional integrity. Total thickness ~4.5 mm uncompressed; tensile strength ≥12 N/cm; tear resistance tested to EN ISO 13937-2. Functions as a combined radiant barrier and semi-rigid insulator — excelling where air movement and moisture control matter. The PET layer ensures consistent flatness and handling stability, while the double-bubble PE provides cushioning, resilience, and acoustic damping benefits alongside thermal performance. Typical installations include: under-tile roofing membranes, behind plasterboard partitions, between floor joists, inside cavity wall reveals, and as external jacketing for hot water cylinders and ducted ventilation runs — all benefiting from its waterproof, UV-stable, and chemically inert surface.
