Compact plastic module measuring approx. 40.3 × 14.9 × 17 mm (1.58 × 0.58 × 0.7 in). Built around the industry-standard PC817 optocoupler for stable, long-life performance. Input voltage selectable across three ranges: DC 3–5 V, 12 V or 24 V. Output delivers DC 1.8–24 V with up to 50 mA drive capability. Requires 15–20 mA input current for full output saturation; operates reliably from 1 mA up to 50 mA. Maximum signal frequency: 5 kHz. Rated for continuous operation from -55 °C to +110 °C. Leverages photoelectric isolation to eliminate electrical continuity between input and output sides — preventing damage from voltage mismatch, ground potential differences or induced noise. Delivers NPN open-collector output with positive-phase amplification, ensuring accurate logic replication without inversion. Designed for engineers integrating microcontrollers into industrial settings: ideal for isolating GPIO pins in Arduino/RPi-based automation, interfacing with 24V PLC I/O, protecting sensor inputs in motor drives, or decoupling power regulation feedback loops where safety and signal integrity are non-negotiable.
