Passive UHF RFID Reader EPC GEN2

This passive UHF RFID desktop reader supports the 860–960 MHz frequency band and adheres strictly to EPC GEN2 (ISO 18000-6C) protocol requirements. It integrates a 2dBi circularly polarised antenna and offers software-configurable output power between 12.5 dBm and 26 dBm. Users may select either fixed-frequency or broad-spectrum frequency-hopping spread spectrum (FHSS) operation. Maximum read distance is up to 0.5 m and write distance up to 0.2 m — actual performance depends on tag sensitivity, antenna placement, surrounding materials and ambient RF conditions. The reader operates in active, passive and answer modes (answer mode discouraged for standard use). Powered directly via USB (DC +5V), it requires no external power source. Constructed from white plastic, it functions reliably from -20°C to +55°C and can be stored safely between -40°C and +85°C. Communication uses USB virtual keyboard HID mode — compatible with most Windows PCs without driver installation. Package contains one reader unit and one USB data cable only.
