Soak the stone in water for 15-20 minutes, until all bubbles disappear. 2. Insert the stone into the rubber base and secure it to the bamboo base. 3. Sand the stone using 400-grade sandpaper, applying even pressure and maintaining a constant angle of 15-25 degrees (an angle indicator is included if needed). 4. Avoid scratching the slurry during sharpening. Lubricate the stone with water to keep it moist. 5. Repeat steps 4 and 5 on the 1000-grade surface until the knife reaches the desired sharpness. 6. Clean the stone and blade after finishing and allow them to air dry completely.
