OEM-Compatible Tailgate Lock Actuator

This tailgate mechanism lock is engineered for precise fit and reliable performance, built to original equipment (OE) specifications. It measures compactly to suit standard rear trunk assemblies and weighs approximately 320g. Constructed from a combination of durable alloy and high-grade plastic, it resists wear, impact, and oxidation under typical UK climate conditions. The unit functions as a direct-replacement actuator for the boot locking system, enabling smooth, consistent operation of tailgate opening and closing. Designed specifically for vehicles using OEM part numbers 6RU827505R or 6RU827505C, it ensures secure latching and contributes to occupant privacy and driving safety by preventing unintended tailgate release during motion.
