Nylon Control Shaft Washer R36022

This Pentair R36022 control shaft assembly washer is a precision-engineered nylon component used in pool and spa automation systems. With an outer diameter of 1.125 inches (28.6 mm), inner diameter of 0.375 inch (9.5 mm), and thickness of 0.06 inch (1.5 mm), it fits securely onto standard 3/8-inch control shafts. Its high-performance nylon composition resists degradation from sanitising chemicals and maintains consistent mechanical properties across typical UK ambient and water temperatures (0–40°C). As part of the control shaft stack, it acts as a non-metallic spacer and thrust washer — absorbing minor vibrations, limiting lateral movement, and preserving torque transfer efficiency between actuator and valve gear. Recommended for scheduled replacement during annual servicing or when diagnosing sluggish valve rotation or inconsistent positioning.
