Noise Reducing Metal Shock Mount

This shock mount uses a dual-elastomer suspension system housed within a rigid metal frame to absorb kinetic energy before it reaches the microphone. Its metal construction contributes to mass-based damping, further suppressing resonant frequencies that could colour the audio signal. Intended for use with side-address condenser microphones, it installs quickly onto standard 5/8"-27 threaded stands or boom arms. The adjustable gimbal permits vertical tilt up to ±30 degrees, secured via a knurled metal locking knob. With no moving parts beyond the intended pivot and lock mechanism, it requires zero maintenance and resists degradation from humidity or temperature fluctuations common in UK basements, attics, or shared living spaces used as studios.
