Mosquito-Proof Rainwater Cover

This rain barrel cover comes in three practical diameters — 80 cm, 95 cm, or 100 cm — and is crafted from tightly woven micro-fabric with a robust double-stitched hem and integrated drawstring. Lightweight at ~45 g, it’s engineered for compatibility with standard UK water butts up to 90 cm in diameter, while the adjustable cord enables snug fitting on smaller units. Its primary function is dual-purpose: blocking flying insects (especially egg-laying mosquitoes and flies) and excluding organic debris such as leaves, seeds and airborne contaminants. By sealing the water surface without compromising breathability, it supports safe, long-term rainwater storage for non-potable garden use. Designed specifically for temperate outdoor conditions typical across Britain and Northern Europe.
