MF52AT 20K NTC Bead Sensor

MF52AT-type NTC thermistor with 20,000 ohm resistance at 25°C. Physical dimensions: 0.8 mm bead diameter, 2.5 mm overall length, lead spacing 2.5 mm. Leads are 25 mm long, tinned for solderability. Sensing element uses manganese-nickel-cobalt oxide formulation, providing stable negative temperature coefficient behaviour over time. Primarily used for passive temperature compensation — correcting thermal drift in analog signal chains, compensating thermocouple cold junctions, and stabilising reference voltages in precision instrumentation. Operates effectively within the full -55°C to +125°C range, with resistance values traceable to standard NTC curves (e.g., Steinhart-Hart coefficients available upon request). Suited for integration into compact devices such as handheld test meters, embedded controllers, and modular sensor nodes. Its small footprint allows routing between SMT components, embedding in potting compounds, or mounting directly onto heatsinks with minimal thermal lag.
