With a height of 5 cm, top inner diameter of 5.1 cm, and bottom inner diameter of 5 cm, it fits securely within standard SCT focusers. Its all-metal construction offers mechanical rigidity and thermal stability, while the internal soft brass ring prevents cosmetic and functional damage to eyepiece barrels. The inner surface is finished with light-absorbing matte paint to suppress internal reflections — enhancing contrast and clarity without altering the telescope’s native optical path. Supplied as a single SCT-to-2inch interface unit, it installs directly with no additional hardware needed.
