This fire striker is a must-have for every survival kit. A fire striker is a waterproof and fireproof rod. Fits into any bag. Fire strikers are impervious to moisture and damp, which is a great advantage over other lighters. Magnesium reaches an extremely high temperature of over 2000C, which makes the production of a flame significantly easier than with conventional fire strikers. The fire striker has a rod form. The forged fire striker will last for approx. 1,500 ignitions. The rod is 7.5cm long and weighs 48g. Please note: prior to first use the magnesium stone has a black coating. Therefore its necessary to rub the steel tool a few times in the same spot so the coating disappears - now the fire striker is ready for use.
