MAF1 Wick Filter Natural Wood Pulp

Standard MAF1-form factor wick filter, precisely sized for humidifiers using the MAF1/-1 filter platform. Fits MA-0950, MA-1200, MA-1201, MA-09500, MA-12000, MA-12001, MA-12010, plus broader compatibility with models 14410–144118, 14906, 15412/154120, and 29979–29982 series. Unit weight: ~45 g. Designed for humidifiers with 2.5–3.5 L water tanks. Core material: unbleached wood pulp paper; bonding agent: thermally activated hot melt adhesive — no solvents, no latex, no PVC. The filter works by drawing water upward via capillary action, allowing clean evaporation while retaining scale-forming minerals and particulates within the paper matrix. This extends humidifier maintenance intervals and helps prevent nozzle clogging and fan obstruction caused by dried residue. Especially suited for UK households using mains water (typically medium-to-hard hardness), where untreated tap water can accelerate mineral build-up and reduce humidifier efficiency over time.
