M42 Macro Extension Tubes Set

This M42 macro extension tube set includes three precision-machined metal tubes: 9mm, 16mm and 30mm in length. Total weight is approximately 180g. Each tube features a durable brass M42 screw mount with 42mm thread and 1mm pitch, finished in matte black anodised coating for secure, wobble-free attachment. The tubes extend the distance between lens and sensor to achieve true macro focusing — enabling significantly reduced minimum focusing distances and higher magnification without any additional optical elements. Because no glass is introduced, native lens sharpness, contrast and colour saturation are fully preserved. Designed for manual-focus M42-mount lenses only. Requires full manual operation: aperture must be set directly on the lens, and exposure must be determined manually or via live view histogram. Compatible with film SLRs such as Pentax Spotmatic, Praktica and Zenit, as well as digital SLRs (e.g., Canon EOS or Nikon F-mount bodies) when used with a suitable M42 adapter. Camera must be set to Manual ('M') exposure mode.
