The MSA311 Tri-Axis Accelerometer Module delivers compact motion sensing with programmable acceleration ranges and flexible digital communication for microcontroller projects. It combines ultra-low standby power consumption with integrated gesture detection and STEMMA QT connectivity for direct board mounting. 1. Sensing capabilities provide tri-axis acceleration measurement with selectable ranges of ±2g, ±4g, ±8g, or ±16g alongside digital output resolution. 2. Connectivity supports a default I2C interface at address 0x62 and SPI communication while running on a 3.3V to 5V supply with less than 10μA standby current. 3. Construction features a black PCB measuring 25.2 by 17.7 by 4.6 millimeters and includes an onboard voltage regulator with a STEMMA QT connector. 4. Everyday use cases include smartphone and tablet screen rotation detection, game controller gesture input tracking, and motion-triggered wake-up signals for IoT hardware. 5. Shipping package contains one accelerometer module and one pin header strip.
