Lightweight Folding Landing Net

Weighing only 205 g (7.23 oz), this folding landing net collapses to 29 cm (11.42 inches) for effortless portability — perfect for wading, kayaking, or hiking to secluded streams. Constructed with durable aluminum alloy, the fully extended pole reaches 50 cm (19.69 inches). The green nylon mesh extends 33 cm (12.99 inches) deep and features tightly spaced hexagonal openings. Its rigid triangular frame measures 34 × 24 cm (13.39 × 9.45 inches) and includes a reliable locking mechanism. A textured rubber grip ensures positive control in wet conditions, and the one-key operation allows full deployment or folding in under one second. The design prioritises functional efficiency: rapid water shedding reduces arm fatigue during repeated use; the hexagonal mesh geometry minimises snagging on hooks or flies; and the triangulated frame resists torsion better than conventional shapes. All components are field-tested for reliability in UK chalk streams, Welsh uplands, and Scottish spate rivers. Intended for fly fishers, coarse anglers, and catch-and-release practitioners who value speed, stability, and minimal pack weight without sacrificing performance.
