Description

INSTALLATION METHOD: Connect a thick copper wire (8 or 10 gauge) from the ground screw on the side of the arrester to a ground rod driven into the earth with a minimum length of 3 feet. 3. LOW LOSS: UHF lightning arrester from DC 3GHz for reliable broadband performance, with an insertion loss of 0.1dB and VSWR of 1.2. It features a replaceable 90V gas tube element with high surge capacity. 4. APPLICABLE: This lightning surge protector provides extremely low loss for HF, VHF, UHF, and other frequency equipment. Suitable for CB radio, HAM radio equipment, and two-way base stations. 5. INSTALLATION LOCATION: The lightning arrester should be installed as close as possible to the equipment to be protected, typically where the coaxial cable enters the building, or it can be installed near the antenna for added protection.
