Lever-Release Falafel Scoop

A 18 cm, 120 g kitchen tool forged from solid 304 stainless steel, featuring a deep-bowl design (2.5 cm depth) and a tactile thumb lever for controlled release. The bowl holds enough mixture for one standard falafel or meatball (approx. 25–30 mm), and the entire unit is free of coatings, plastics, or welds — only cold-worked, polished stainless steel throughout. Cleaning is simplified by intuitive separation: the lever arm detaches from the bowl with a gentle twist — no tools required. Both parts are fully submersible and compatible with standard UK dishwashers (top rack recommended). After washing, air-drying each component before reassembly prevents moisture retention and maintains smooth operation. While optimised for falafel, users report successful adaptation for falafel alternatives (e.g., beetroot or black bean balls), meatloaf portions, fish cakes, and even portioning soft cheeses or mashed potato for croquettes — all benefiting from its clean release and defined sizing.
