KW7 Series V152C25 Copper NC Touch Microswitch

Single-unit KW7 series touch-type microswitch, model V152C25 (equivalent to KW70B), designed for microwave oven door interlocks. Dimensions: ~22 mm × 12 mm × 10 mm; weight: under 5 g. Constructed with copper moving and fixed contacts housed in flame-retardant thermoplastic (UL94 V-0 rated housing per KW7 spec sheet). Operates on a normally closed (NC) principle: default state is electrically closed; actuation (door opening) forces contact separation. Rated for 1 A / 250 VAC resistive load, with mechanical life exceeding 100,000 cycles. Intended for direct replacement where original V152C25 or KW70B switches have failed due to contact erosion, inconsistent actuation or physical breakage. Requires verification of terminal layout (2-pin, 5.08 mm pitch), mounting clip type and actuator direction prior to installation. Not compatible with non-KW7-series appliances without engineering validation.
