IR Remote Extender Cable ABS

Engineered for reliability in real-world UK home theatre installations, this IR extender cable uses high-grade ABS material for durability and thermal stability. It weighs approximately 56g and measures with an 18cm output cable terminating in an IEC male connector; the input side features an F-female connector. Power requirement is fixed at 9V DC / 12mA. Input signal compatibility is optimised for 37.9 kHz infrared carrier frequency (the de facto standard for most UK TV remotes and universal controllers), while output delivers a controlled 7.2 MHz switched carrier. Designed for ambient operation between 0°C and +40°C. Enables full remote functionality for devices placed out of sight — including Blu-ray players, DVD players, digital TV boxes and AV receivers — provided they feature standard infrared receivers (not RF). No configuration or calibration needed.
