INA260 Voltage Current Power Sensor Module

1. This device functions as two multimeters in one, delivering exceptional accuracy and flexibility. It measures DC current on either the high side or low side, bus voltage, and automatically calculates power. Accuracy exceeds 99% across a wide voltage, current, and temperature range, with data transmitted via I2C in an easy-to-use format. 2. Compatible with any CircuitPython or Arduino-compatible microcontroller, as well as single-board computers such as Raspberry Pi. Supports both 3V and 5V logic levels. Measures bus voltages up to +36 VDC. Not designed for AC voltage measurement. 3. The voltage drop across the integrated 2 mΩ (0.002 Ω), 0.1% precision shunt resistor is measured by an internal 16-bit ADC, enabling high-resolution current measurement down to 1.5 mA. (Due to its extremely low resistance, some multimeters may interpret the shunt as a short circuit.) 4. In high-side configuration, bus voltage and power calculations are accurate and straightforward. For low-side bus voltage measurement, users must disconnect the jumper between V+ and VBUS and connect the VBUS pin directly to the voltage bus. Many current-sensing devices have notable limitations. Some operate only on the low side, which can introduce errors when ground potential shifts with current flow. Others—like the INA219B—use high-side sensing but require manual shunt resistor changes to adjust current ranges. The INA260 overcomes these constraints: its integrated precision shunt enables continuous current measurement up to 15 A at +36 V, on either high-side or low-side configurations.
