I2C Digital-to-Analog Converter Module for Microcontroller Projects

You can output analog voltages from a microcontroller using the MCP4725. The CJMCU-MCP4725 is an I²C-controlled digital-to-analog converter (DAC). A DAC allows you to generate analog signals, such as sine waves, from a digital source like a microcontroller’s I²C interface. DACs are suitable for sound generation, musical instruments, and many other applications. This CJMCU-MCP4725 breakout board features improvements including an updated IC footprint, corrected I²C pinout, optimized board dimensions, and other minor enhancements. The board breaks out all necessary pins for the MCP4725, including GND and analog output (VOUT) for connection to an oscilloscope or other devices. It also provides SCL, SDA, VCC, and an additional GND for standard I²C interfacing.
