This humidifier has a powdery substance that allows the water to move at a slower pace through the filter to receive the maximum amount of water to be absorbed into the air. For the best performance and maximum humidity output, wick humidifier filters should be replaced every 30-45 days. The harder the water, the more it will decrease the lifespan of your wick filter. Remember to always discard your used panel filter at the end of each season. Moistair may also be known as Moistair, Bemis, Moist Air, West Bend, Emerson.
