High-Flatness RF Synthesizer Module

This ADF4351-based frequency synthesizer module implements Analog Devices’ recommended reference design with enhanced layout optimisation for improved power flatness across its operational bandwidth. Dimensions: ~60 × 40 × 10 mm; weight ~25 g. Built on high-quality FR-4 substrate with attention to RF return paths and decoupling. Covers 35 MHz to 4400 MHz (4.4 GHz). Sine wave output: 2200–4400 MHz (fundamental); square wave output: 35–2200 MHz (divided). SMA female RF port. Three-wire SPI interface with all control lines and lock status pin accessible externally. Supports point-frequency, linear sweep, and frequency-hopping modes. Frequency step resolution: 1 kHz typical, down to 0.1 kHz at lower frequencies — determined by the reference crystal used.
