High-Accuracy 14-Bit Magnetic Encoder

This 14-bit magnetic rotary encoder offers absolute angular measurement with ±0.05° accuracy after microcontroller post-processing (linearization and averaging), based on a high-fidelity 14-bit analog front end capable of resolving down to 0.0219°. Powered by 5V DC, it uses non-contact magnetic sensing and features a synthetic paperboard housing. It supports PWM output plus SPI and I²C digital interfaces for versatile microcontroller integration. The device tolerates magnet–chip centering offset, air gap deviation, and operates reliably from -40°C to +150°C. Zero-angle programming is performed in-system using standard SPI or I²C commands — no external programmer needed — and retained in internal memory. Intended for shaft-based setups with a rotating two-pole magnet positioned above or below the sensor IC.
