Grey PVC Buckle Clamshell Lens Case

Size: 16.5 cm length × 2.3 cm width — measured externally along longest edge and thickest point. Material: homogenous PVC sheet formed via heat-pressing, resulting in seamless edges and uniform wall thickness (approx. 1.2 mm). Weight: under 45 g — light enough for all-day carry without adding noticeable load. Interior space accommodates folded optical frames up to 15.2 cm temple length and lenses up to 55 mm width. Key protective mechanisms: the rigid shell absorbs lateral impact, while the buckle ensures vertical containment — together mitigating two primary causes of lens chipping and frame hinge loosening. The smooth internal surface minimises friction during insertion/removal, reducing micro-scratches on coated lenses. Everyday integration: its low-profile rectangle shape stacks neatly with other accessories (e.g., phone, wallet, AirPods case) in a work tote or weekend crossbody. Also functions as a secure, opaque container for small valuables — avoiding the visibility and vulnerability of transparent or mesh pouches.
